Set on historic Bayou St. John in New Orleans, Pitot House tells the story of life along the bayou since the earliest days of settlement.
As the city’s only Creole colonial country house open to the public, Pitot House offers a tangible record of the way people lived in the past and valuable connections to those who have contributed to the beautiful fabric of our city. Join us to explore the past at Pitot House, where we strive to spark curious minds and prove that history can be fun!
