At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on. It’s a day for everyone around the world to stand together and give back in all ways, no matter who or where we are.
Louisiana Landmarks Society and The Pitot House are participating in GiveNOLA Day. It was with great sadness that we closed the doors of the Pitot House Museum and had to cancel our school tours and programs. We treasure our special school programs which allow us to honor our mission and engage with our local schools. We would like to be able to offer summer and fall activities to our local school children who have suffered many setbacks and uncertainties. We can do that with the help of our partners and community with GiveNOLA Day.
Those interested in joining Louisiana Landmarks and The Pitot House Museum’s GiveNOLA Day efforts can make a donation here. As always, we are truly grateful for the generosity and support of our community.
